Motivating Learners to Excel
Speaker: Jennifer Robinson, Pharm.D., Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Student Success, Clinical Associate Professor, WSU College of Pharmacy
Dr. Robinson will present on the importance of a growth mindset and its impact on professional growth and development. She will present strategies specific to professionals in the pharmacy setting and how to apply strategies to develop a growth mindset.
One hour of CE credit will be provided, approved by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy and the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.

Gender Dysphoria: Caring for Transgender and Gender Non-Binary Patients
Speaker: Cheyenne Newsome, Pharm.D., PhC, BCACP, Clinical Assistant Professor, WSU College of Pharmacy
Dr. Newsome will present on therapy options and challenges for dysphoria, transgender, and non-binary patients.
One hour of CE credit will be provided, approved by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy and the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.

It’s time to renew your membership
We look forward to another great year in 2017, and your membership is essential for us to continue to offer quality education and activities for our members and the Spokane community.
Our membership year runs from January to December, so if you have not renewed your Spokane Pharmacy Association membership for 2017, all 2016 memberships expired on December 31.
Three ways to renew
Spokane pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, student pharmacists, and associate members can renew their SPA membership one of three ways:
