Message from the Board

“In like a lion and out like a lamb”. That’s the saying regarding March, but I think it’s also been applicable to winter 2021-2022. Hopefully things are settling down after the Omicron variant that was so prevalent in January.
We are happy to announce that we have several new board members in 2022. All of our board terms are 2 years, so with each new year, half of our board members are new! New board members include: Lauren Powell, Brittany Craft, Alex Stumphauzer, Michelle Nguyen, Alicia Barnes, and Jessica Gould. Maybe your name should be on our list next year!
We’d also like to thank those that terms ended in December. They are Brandon Arthur, Shelly Yeager, Boris Zhang, Blair Rossow, Carla Hibbs, Cole Wren, and James Hendrix-Ward.
There have been several drug company sponsored dinners and CE events this year already. See our website for upcoming dinners and CE events. In February, we had an exciting night of hatchet throwing and pizza – view photos from the event on our Facebook page.
We also have a fun afternoon scheduled on Saturday, April 16th up on Green Bluff at Big Barn Brewing. Visit our website for more details and information on how to RSVP. As everyone tries to get back to normal, more events will be posted on our website and announced as well.
This year we will be having a smaller format annual meeting which is currently planned for late August. We are always happy to hear ideas from members for continuing educational topics as well as social events. Use the link on our website to provide feedback!
